This lot features a George Reeves Superman Studio publicity photo dated February 26th, 1958. Reeves was an actor best known for his role as Superman in the 1950s television program "Adventures of Superman". His death in 1959 at age 45 from a gunshot remains a polarizing issue; the official finding was suicide, but some believe he was murdered or the victim of an accidental shooting. This photo was dated shortly before his death. Very unique George Reeves-Superman collectible. Measures 5x7 inches.
