After finishing the season a *Perfect* 11-0, and beating the #1 ranked Florida Gators, 24-21, on the last game of the '96 season, Florida ended up getting revenge on the #1 ranked Florida St. Seminoles in the Sugar Bowl to break up the undefeated season. There were an astonishing 37 players from this Seminoles team to go on to play in the NFL. Definitely one of the best Florida State teams ever assembled. Offered in this lots is a beautiful & massive ring from the FSU football program, in which the Seminoles won their 5th straight ACC Championship under Head Coach Bobby Bowden. Weighing a lofty 45.1-grams (1.59 oz) of solid 10K Gold, and presented to player "McDonald" for their impressive, UNDEFEATED regular season, in which 6 of the 12 games played were against ranked opponents. This big chunk of gold is an extremely impressive championship ring, weighing roughly 1.5 ounces of solid 10K gold which is currently valued $1,288.00 per ounce at time of publishing, giving this ring excellent intrinsic value. Even though we were told that "McDonald" was a player, we could not find him listed on the FSU roster. Perhaps, he was on injured reserve or redshirted. Either way, this Jostens ring is the exact same as every other player ring issued. It's a size 10.75 to 11 and can be sized up or down up to 2 sizes by a good jeweler. Produced by world renowned JOSTENS, it is all original, in near perfect condition, with all of the proper markings stamped inside ("c" in a circle and "Jostens 10K"). A stunning and aesthetically appealing ring from one of the most talented Florida State Seminoles teams ever assembled.
