This lot features a factory sealed 1990 Topps Baseball Vending Case that contains 24 boxes and 500 cards. This Vending Case is ‘Factory Sealed’ (Never Opened) and has been stored in a heated and dry storage since it was purchased in 1990. The Case is in the Near Mint to Mint + (NM/MT+) condition range with SHARP CORNERS and SIDES with NO MARKINGS. The 1990 Topps Baseball Complete Set Checklist is 792 Player Cards. The Vending Case is randomly assembled with the 12,000 Player Cards, as stated, and generally, in most cases, will create several complete sets but there are no guarantees to the actual number. My experience has generally been between 10 to 12 sets while I have heard others have gotten a few more. At the very least you should pull multiple copies of the players you are searching for. The Star Rookie Cards ‘RC’ of the 1990 Topps are Frank Thomas and Larry Walker. Both Thomas and Walker have been selected as members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF). Other Rookie Cards in the 1990 Topps include Sammy Sosa, Bernie Williams and Juan Gonzalez. The 1990 Topps Checklist also contains many other HOF members from this era including Eddie Murray, George Brett, Ryne Sandberg, Nolan Ryan, Robin Yount, Ken Griffey Jr. (2nd year card), Cal Ripken, Randy Johnson, Ozzie Smith, Greg Maddux and Tony Gwynn. Other All-time Greats include Barry Bonds, Don Mattingly, Roger Clemens and Mark McGwire to name a few.
