This lot features a 1920's Edd Roush M.R. Campbell bat with "ROUSH" stamped into the barrel. This war club measures 35 inches and weighs an incredible 40 ounces which perfectly matches Edd Roush's bat ordering records. There weren't many ball players from that era that could wield a bat of this size. The bat shows outstanding overall use with ball marks, cleat marks and also features Edd Roush's preferred thick handle. Roush played from 1913-1931 and is a member of baseball's Hall of Fame. He had 2,376 hits and a .323 career BA.
