This lot features a Don Mattingly 1985 New York Yankees game used and autographed bat graded PSA/DNA GU 8.5. Coveted bat from Donny Baseball's MVP Season. Louisville Slugger H&B Model: T141 bat measures 34 inches, weighs 28.9 ounces and exhibits moderate overall use. Cracked at the handle with ball/hit marks on the left and back barrel, blue ball transfer marks on the left and back barrel, blue bat rack streaks all around the barrel. Mattingly's #23 is on the knob and barrel in black marker. Signed by Mattingly in black marker. Mattingly had 35 HR's, 145 RBI and a .324 BA while winning the American League MVP in 1985. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA John Taube LOA grading the bat a GU 8.5.
