This lot features a black Derek Jeter 2011 Louisville Slugger signature model bat measuring 34 inches and weighing 32 ounces. The bat shows excellent player use characteristics with ball marks, light pine tar, ball stitch impressions, bat date of manufacture and specifications "1/27/2011 34.0/32.0" stamped into the knob of the bat. The bat is accompanied by a letter from Derek Jeter himself (signed by Jeter) stating that he used this bat during the 2011 season. The bat has been subsequently signed by Jeter at a private signing with Steiner Sports in large, bold, silver marker, making for a spectacular display piece. Also accompanied by a Steiner Sports bat box. Jeter remains one the most popular athletes amongst collectors. He is now a 3,000 Hit Club member, 4 time World Series Champion and first ballot future HOF'er. Truly amazing Derek Jeter collectible.
