Boston Red Sox home Carl Yastrzemski pullover knit jersey exhibiting quality overall use. The jersey has "RED SOX" sewn on front and "8" sewn on back in red on blue tackle twill. The McAuliffe manufacturers tag and size 42 tag are seen into the collar. Yastrzemski jerseys are highly coveted by collectors and difficult to find as most that have them aren't willing to sell them. The 1978 year and wash tag are sewn into the lower outside front, center tail. Provenance is very important on these particular jerseys and this one is accompanied by rock solid provenance as it was originally acquired directly from Carl Yastrzemski himself. Yaz has signed both the front and back of this beautiful jersey. He originally signed it o the front then signed it again on the back when he gave the jersey away.
