Vintage Minnesota Twins size 46 Spalding 1965 road flannel jersey used by 3 time All Star outfielder Bob Allison. The jerseys has the "ALLISON" felt swatch sewn into the collar as well as the "SET 2 ALLISON, 4 46 65" chain stitched into the hem. The Spalding dry cleaning tag is sewn into the hem directly above with remnants of the size tag of where it used to be. The Twins insignia on front shows very nice wear and puckering and the body shows nice wear. The "4" on back shows nice use consistent with the insignia on front and has actually been moved 1 inch directly to the left by the Twins trainers as it was initially placed too far to the right by Spalding. The "4" on the jersey is all original as is every aspect of this historic Twins flannel from the 1st American League Championship and World Series season. The jersey is in nice overall condition and is accompanied by a very detailed Letter of Authenticity from game used expert Rich Ellis.
