This lithograph has been signed popular pin up girl Bettie Page in black marker. Page was an American model who gained a significant profile in the 1950s for her pin-up photos. Often referred to as the "Queen of Pinups", her jet black hair, blue eyes, and trademark bangs have influenced artists for generations. Page literally disappeared from the public eye in 1959 making her signature a very difficult one to acquire. Also signed by the artist Olivia De Berardinis who created this piece in 1992. Olivia was well known for her paintings of women, often referred to as pinup or cheesecake art. She has been working in this genre since the mid-1970s. Since 2004 Olivia has been a monthly contributor to Playboy magazine, where her art pinup page appears with captions written by Hugh Hefner.
