Bert Blyleven ‘Baseball Bugs’ Bunny Friz Freleng Limited Edition Cel Art Signed Rare w/Blyleven Signed Letter of Provenance

This lot features Bert Blyleven’s “Baseball Bugs” limited edition cel art signed by Friz Freleng. Inspired from the 1946 theatrical short Baseball Bugs, this is one of the most popular Friz Freleng (1906-1995) limited editions ever released. This is a 16 field hand-painted cel of Bugs Bunny as a pitcher. It is set on a print background of Bugs in other images inspired from the original short. The cel was created from an original Friz Freleng sketch and is hand-signed by Freleng. This framed piece measures approximately 22x24”.
