This lot features Bert Blyleven’s rookie year hand written game used stat baseball from July 23, 1970 when the Twins beat the Tigers 2-1. Blyleven pitched his second complete game of his Hall of Fame career, giving up 4 hits, 1 run and struck out 8. This was his 4th career victory.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
