This lot features Bert Blyleven’s rookie year hand written game used stat baseball from June 14, 1970 when the Twins beat the Red Sox 5-2. Blyleven pitched 5 innings, giving up 6 hits and struck out 7. This was his first home victory at Metropolitan Stadium.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
