This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used stat baseball from Game 2 of the 1987 World Series on October 18th. The Twins defeated the Cardinals 8-4 taking a 2-0 series lead. Blyleven won his second career World Series Game pitching 7 innings giving up 6 hits, 2 runs and striking out 8.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
