This lot features Bert Blyleven's hand written game used stat baseballs from his 1st win of the 1980 season which would be his last season as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates. On May 31,1980 he defeated the Mets 5-0, pitching a complete game shutout, giving up 7 hits and struck out 6.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
