This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used final out stat baseball from April 6, 1973 (his birthday). This was Bert’s first win of the 1973 season where he was eventually named an All Star. He beat Catfish Hunter pitching 9 innings with 7 strikeouts in a 8-3 win.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
