Bert Blyleven 1st Professional Shutout Rookie League 1969 Sarasota Twins Gulf Coast League Game Used Stat Baseball w/Blyleven Signed Letter of Provenance

This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used stat baseball from 1969 when he pitched in the Rookie League for the Sarasota Twins in the Gulf Coast League. This was Blyleven’s first ever professional shut out when he beat the Pirates 8-0 pitching a 3 hitter. Also note Blyleven signed this baseball which features a very early career autograph.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
