This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used final out stat baseball from April 26, 1978 when the Pirates beat the Mets 1-0. This was his first ever victory in the National League, pitching all 11 innings, giving up 6 hits and struck out 8.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
