This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used stat baseball from September 4, 1973 Twins vs Royals. During this game Blyleven pitched his 1,000th Major League Inning and also recorded his 800th career strikeout beating the Royals 6-0 pitching all 9 innings, striking out 4.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
