Bert Blyleven 19th Win 1984 Cleveland Indians September 30 vs Twins Final Win of the Year Game Used Stat Baseball w/Blyleven Signed Letter of Provenance

This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used stat baseball from his 19th and final win of the 1984 season with the Cleveland Indians. On September 30th he beat the Twins 7-4, pitching 7 2/3 innings, giving up 9 hits, 4 runs and struck out 4. He then wrote his final season stats on the backside of the baseball which read: 170 SO - 4th, 245 innings, 204 hits, 12 complete games tied 4th, 4 shutouts tied 3rd.

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
