This lot features Bert Blyleven’s hand written game used stat baseballs from his 14th win of the 1989 Angels Season. On August 24th he beat the Royals 5-0, pitching a complete game shutout, giving up 4 hits and striking out 4. This was his 59th career shutout moving him to 8th on the all time list!

Blyleven collected these baseballs after the game and personally hand wrote everything pictured on the baseball at that specific time. If he pitched a complete game, these are the actual final out baseballs. All other baseballs are game used from the stated game.
