Barry Bonds wore this black Pittsburgh Pirates knit dugout jacket during 1986, his rookie season with the Pirates. This jacket is a zip-up, with “PIRATES” embroidered across the front and Starter logo patch on the left sleeve. The arms and collar of this jacket are accented with yellow. A Starter size Medium tag is applied to the back inside collar. Barry Bond's numbers 7 and 24 are written on the tag in faded black marker. Before switching to his customary No. 24 to honor his godfather Willie Mays, Bonds wore No. 7 for most of his rookie season. The jacket shows evidence of light to moderate overall use. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticating its use.
