Flawlessly signed first edition copy of The Babe Ruth Story by Babe Ruth as told to Bob Considine, one of the most desirable of all baseball books. This particular copy features an absolutely perfect Babe Ruth signature scripted in back fountain pen on the front title page "To Dickson, From Babe Ruth". The Babe Ruth Story was published by E.P. Dutton & Co. in 1948, just months prior to Ruth's death. It was during this that his failing health made it impossible to honor all of the autograph requests he normally received. As a result, signed copies of this book are not only rare but also represent one of the most important and final items ever penned by the legendary slugger. For that reason they are highly coveted by collectors.
