Black Louisville Slugger professional model C271L bat used by Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez during the memorable 2009 World Series Championship season. The bat measures 34 inches, weighs 31.3 ounces and shows fantastic game use ball marks, stitch marks, blue ink transfer marks, cleat marks, and a heavy coat of Mota stick on the handle. There are remnants of a weighted batting sleeve and pine tar on the center brand from contact with another bat.
The knob is stamped with the date the bat was made (7/24/2009) as well as length and weight. A-Rod has signed the bat in silver sharpie "Alex Rodriguez, 2009 Champs, Game Used." Overall, a fantastic gamer from the final season in Yankees Stadium that ended with a World Series Championship. Authenticated by PSA/DNA John Taube and graded a GU 8.5.
