Adam Fantilli played for the University of Michigan Wolverines before being drafted third overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Following the 2022-23 season, he was awarded the Tim Taylor Award, Hobey Baker Award and was named an AHCA West First Team All-American. He became only the third freshman to win the Hobey Baker Award.
