This gorgeous pendant is the exact top of the Denver Broncos AFC Championship ring that was produced by Jostens for the players, coaches and few select staff members for the Broncos first ever Super Bowl appearance. The 1977 season represented a major leap for the Denver Broncos because they had never won more than 9 games in a season. Red Miller, who was in his first season as the Broncos' head coach, was named "NFL Coach-of-the-Year". Quarterback Craig Morton was named "Comeback Player-of-the-Year". There are 12 brilliant cut round diamonds (roughly a 1/2-carat) set on top which represents Denver's 12 regular season wins in 1977 (the Broncos were an impressive 12-2)as well as the fact that it was Super Bowl XII. This extremely scarce pendant weighs 12.1 grams of solid 10K Gold and has the original Jostens markings engraved on the back ("J" in a diamond - "10K"). The pendant is all original and remains in amazing condition considering it is 35 years old. A really nice addition to any Denver Broncos or championship jewelry collection.
