Large, legible Babe Ruth signature engulfs the sweet spot. The 1933 New York Yankees were a powerhouse team that won the World Series championship, their fourth in the last five years. Led by the legendary Babe Ruth and future Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Earle Combs, and Bill Dickey, the team finished with an impressive 99-53 record, the best in the American League. The team's offense was dominant, scoring 949 runs over the course of the season, while the pitching staff, anchored by Red Ruffing and Lefty Gomez, held opponents to just 719 runs.
