This iconic team is viewed by many baseball historians to be the greatest baseball team ever assembled. The '27 Bronx Bombers went 110-44 during the regular season before sweeping the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-0 to win the World Series title. The ball has been signed by Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Herb Pennock, Earle Combs as well as tough signatures Urban Shocker, George Pipgras, Wilcy Moore, Joe Giard and Benny Bengough. The Babe Ruth signature on the sweet spot has been deemed a clubhouse version. The 1927 season also happened to be Babe Ruth's finest as he hit 60 HR's, knocked in 165 runs and batted .356.
