This vintage baseball lot features a 1902 A.G. Spalding Signature Model Bat measuring 33 inches and weighing 42.5 ounces. This is a very rare early bat that was only made for a few years during the turn of the century. It features 19th century patented groove handle with the initials W W engraved in the knob. The only 2 players from that era that had the initials WW were Wee Willie Keeler and William Wallace McCredie. Players from that era often carved their initials or other identifying marks into the knob or barrel of their bats. Unique, turn of the century baseball bat.
