William Birch autographed 8x10 black and white photo. Birch was one of the Doolittle Raiders in 1942. He entered service on September 14, 1939 at March Field, California. Graduated from Bombsight Maintenance School, Lowry Field, Colorado. After raid attended Pilot Training Schools and graduated from Advanced Flying School, Lubbock, Texas in June 1943. Separated from service after various Stateside assignments on December 7, 1945. Decorations include Distinguished Flying Cross, Chinese Army, Navy, and Air Corps Medal, Class A, 1st Grade.
