This lot features a Whitey Ford autographed "Pinstripe Power" VHS tape signed on the tape itself. Whitey Ford, born Edward Charles Ford, is a retired professional baseball pitcher who played his entire career with the New York Yankees from 1950 to 1967. During his 16-year career, Ford was known for his precision and control on the mound, as well as his ability to pitch in clutch situations. He won six World Series championships with the Yankees and was named the World Series MVP in 1961. Ford also won the Cy Young Award in 1961 and was selected to ten All-Star teams throughout his career. He finished his career with a record of 236 wins and just 106 losses, with a career ERA of 2.75. In 1974, Ford was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest pitchers in the history of the sport. (JSA)
