Description: Ron Perranoski 1970 Minnesota Twins game used road gray flannel jersey with "TWINS" across the chest and number "16" on back are applied with blue-on-red tackle twill. The front left tail of the jersey has the Spalding size 42 tag sewn into it as well as the 'Perranoski 42-70 Set 2" name/size/year/set swatch and "Perranoski" chain stitched into the collar. The jersey shows moderate evidence of game use. The jersey is all original and has the Twins logo patch on the left sleeve. Also included are Perranoski's 1970 set 1 road pants. The 1970 season was Perranoski's best as a Twin as he led the league with 34 saves, finished 7th in the Cy Young voting and 12th in the MVP voting.
Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticating its use. Miedema concludes: "After a thorough examination of this Ron Perranoski game used flannel Jersey, it is my opinion that this jersey is authentic as described and can be attributed to being used by Perranoski during the 1970 season while playing with the Minnesota Twins."
