The front tail of the jersey features a "Goodman & Sons" manufacturer's tag with "42" for the jersey's size. The jersey shows light to moderate evidence of game use. The Angels team patch is present on the left sleeve and the team 25th Anniversary patch adorns the right sleeve. The name on back has been restored to original form which was not at all unusual for Angels gamers of this era. The 1985 season was Carew's last season in the big leagues and was very significant as it was also the year in which he became a member of baseball's elite 3,000 Hit Club.
