Black Mizuno Pete Rose signature model A.T.H.L Bat measuring 34 inches and weighing 32 ounces. This stunning bat has "Pete Rose" use characteristics all over it, including a sanded hitting surface on both sides of the barrel, pine tar laden handle, a 5 inch section of tape on the upper handle, as well as six carefully applied ringlets of tape, which are also pine tar laden. Pete's number '14' is written on the knob in silver. Rose collected his record 4,192nd hit on September 11th, 1985. Following his record breaking hit, Mizuno issued Rose a new model number on the barrel of his bats. The 'A.T.H.L.' (All Time Hit Leader) model is what Rose continued to use until his final at bat. This is the last model Mizuno bat Rose ever used. The offered bat has ball marks, stitch marks and remains un-cracked. Excellent Rose example with all of his signature use characteristics.
