This iconic team is viewed by many baseball historians to be the greatest one of the greatest baseball teams ever assembled. The ball has been signed on the sweet spot by Babe Ruth in black steel-tip fountain pen. Others to sign the ball include HOF'ers Lou Gehrig, Miller Huggins (manager), Tony Lazzeri (signed twice), Waite Hoyt, Earle Combs, Herb Pennock, Collins, Merkle, Ward, O'Leary, Meusel, Skiff, Bengough, Gazella, Adas, Koenig, Severeid, Shawkey, Dugan, Paschal, Carlisle, Jones, Reuther, McQuaid, Beal, Paxton, Urban Shocker and Myles Thomas. The 1926 season also happened to be one of Babe Ruth's finest as he hit 47 HR's, knocked in 153 runs and batted .372. Truly coveted team signed baseballs.
