This lot features an rare sought after 1991-92 Neal Broten game worn jersey used during the end of his career with the Minnesota North Stars before the team moved to Dallas. This special Minnesota relic is all original with the "STEICHENS" tag in the collar as well as "SET 1" tag sewn into the lower hem, CCM Ultrafil Knit size 50 jersey features the 75th NHL Anniversary patch as well as the Minnesota North Stars 25th Anniversary patch. Another unique feature on this jersey is the assistant captain "A" patch on the left front attached to the jersey by velcro (it is removable). The jersey shows tremendous use with 2 team repairs and stick marks on the right sleeve, 3 team repairs and stick marks on the left sleeve, nice inside pilling and good salt deposits in the fight strap inside. The jersey has impeccable provenance as it originated from Minnesota North Stars equipment manager at the time, Mark Baribeau. Broten has added a perfect signature on the back #7 in black sharpie. This jersey is accompanied by a very detailed Letter of Authenticity from game used expert Rich Ellis as well as a letter of provenance tracking the history of this incredible jersey and how it was acquired. Also includes James Spence Authentication for the Broten autograph.
