Great pair of brown suede '70s Converse turf shoes worn by Hall of Famer Orestos "Minnie" Minoso as a Chicago White Sox coach and player during a brief but highly publicized player appearance in 1976. In doing so, Minoso became the 3rd player to get a hit after the age of 50 and only the second player to appear in the major leagues in four decades (and later, five). These are professional quality shoes worn by a Hall of Famer and the first black player in White Sox or Cubs history - an iconic figure in Chicago sports history. They feature brown suede and nylon construction and the classic All-Stars' single white leather star and stripe, as well as imprinted stars and logos on hard rubber sole. Display ideal use and NO abuse.
