This is the first time this jersey has been sold publicly as it was acquired directly from Marshall's estate. The Dodgers upset the heavily favored Athletics to win the Series in five games. This Series is best remembered for the pinch-hit walk-off home run hit by Dodgers outfielder Kirk Gibson.
