This lot features a Mark Davidson 1987 Minnesota Twins game used & autographed bat. This bat was used by Davidson during the Twins' first World Series championship season. Davidson has signed & inscribed "1987 World Series Champs" in black sharpie on the barrel. Mark Davidson is a former Major League Baseball player who spent two seasons with the Minnesota Twins. He made his debut on September 1, 1986, and played in a total of 55 games over the next two seasons. Davidson primarily played as an outfielder and designated hitter, and finished his career with a .215 batting average, 2 home runs, and 12 runs batted in. After his time with the Twins, Davidson played in the minor leagues for a few more years before retiring in 1991. Despite his brief stint in the majors, Davidson remains a fan favorite among Twins fans for his hustle and hard work on the field.
