This lot features a Gary Sheffield 1996 Florida Marlins Rawlings professional model PRO HFBT Heart of the Hide size 12.75 inch fielding glove. This glove can be specifically dated to Sheffield's 1996 season with the Marlins. The glove exhibits excellent overall use. While we can not say with 100% certainty that Gary Sheffield used this glove (players typically wear their favorite glove for very lengthy periods of time), the fact that Rawlings only made 2 gloves per year for Sheffield makes this an extremely rare and highly coveted collectible. Aesthetically appealing glove in that "Gary Sheffield" is embroidered into the outside thumb in gold lettering.
