This lot features a Barry Bonds 1986 Pittsburgh Pirates #7 rookie batting helmet exhibiting quality overall use. The left-handed yellow and black Pirates batting helmet has the "P" team logo decal on the front. The exterior shell shows several abrasions and scuffs from use and the backside has Bonds' number “7” applied in black along side the logo for American Baseball Cap Company. The interior has the padded headband and crown which exhibit excellent use. Before switching to his customary No. 24 to honor his godfather Willie Mays, Bonds wore No. 7 for most of his rookie season.
