This attractive lot features an incredibly RARE and highly coveted Kirby Puckett 1984 Rookie Throwback Minnesota Twins jersey. This Cooperstown Collection Turn Back the Clock size XL jersey has been made by Majestic and features two color, sewn red on blue tackle twill #34 on the front and back as well as sewn on "PUCKETT" name on back and "TWINS" sewn on front. Very nice professional style authentic jersey that would sell for $300-$400 on its own, UNSIGNED. Puckett signed jerseys are incredibly rare regardless of the style of jersey but most that you will find are signed on blank jerseys or jerseys that don't really have any significant tie to Puckett. This special "Baby Blue Treasure" is highly coveted by collectors due to it's aesthetic appeal and the fact that this was the style jersey that the late Kirby Puckett wore during his rookie season. The back #4 has been PERFECTLY signed by Puckett in bold, black marker. Puckett signatures are among the difficult to acquire due to his tragic death in 2006 at age of only 45 years young. Puck was simply one of the most popular players every play the game and he RARELY signed jerseys, let alone his rookie professional style jersey. Opportunities like this one just don't come along very often. I tried to do an extensive search to find another signed jersey exactly like this one and came up empty. His signed jerseys routinely sell in the $1000-$2000 price range even though the jerseys themselves are much less desirable.
