This lot features a Kirby Puckett c. 1985 Minnesota Twins professional model fielder’s glove. This custom-made Rawlings Pro TF-B Trap-Eze model glove was produced for Puckett’s use. It exhibits light to moderate overall use and has Puckett's faded #34 in silver marker. The glove has the KEB01- 1985-year code on the back of the thumb. Puckett typically wore Wilson gloves in games during this era based on images that are readily available. Players would often receive gloves from several manufacturers to try out. It is possible Puckett may have used this glove either during a game or pre-game though there isn't photographic evidence of him using Rawlings gloves during this era. Definitely an extremely rare, early career Kirby Puckett glove. Accompanied by PSA/DNA Authentication. (Certification number: 1G00853).
