This lot features a Kirby Puckett c. 1985-86 game used Minnesota Twins cap. This red/blue cap has the Twins "TC" logo embroidered on the front. MLB logo and New Era tags are sewn in the headband, which also features a size 7 1/4 flag. Puckett’s number “34” is written on the underside of the brim in faded black marker. This cap shows quality overall wear. Puckett has signed the underside of the brim in blue marker. Very popular rookie era Puckett game used hat.
Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticating its use. Miedema concludes: "After a thorough examination of this Kirby Puckett game used cap, it is my opinion that this cap is authentic as described and can be attributed to being used by Puckett while with the Minnesota Twins c. 1985-86."
