This lot features a Kirby Puckett Minnesota Twins professional model fielder’s glove and autographed ball. This custom-made Rawlings glove model KP92 was produced for Puckett’s use and has his name stitched along the thumb in red. The glove has been signed and inscribed by Puckett with “Gold Glove Winner 1986, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1991” along with his signature “Kirby Puckett #34”. Puckett signatures with career accomplishments are extremely rare. A ball signed by Puckett has been affixed to the plan of the glove. We have seen at least two examples of Puckett professional gloves with a signed ball displayed similarly from his personal collection. Very impressive display piece with rare Puckett inscription.
