This lot features a Kirby Puckett autographed Sports Illustrated magazine cover signed in bold, black sharpie by Puckett, who has also added "#34". Puckett was a former American professional baseball player who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 12 seasons from 1984 to 1995. He played his entire career for the Minnesota Twins and was known for his exceptional hitting and fielding abilities. Puckett was a 10-time All-Star and won six Gold Glove Awards for his defensive play in center field. He helped lead the Twins to two World Series championships in 1987 and 1991 and was named the World Series MVP in 1991. Puckett had a career batting average of .318 and hit 207 home runs. He retired in 1996 due to glaucoma and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001. (PSA/DNA)
