This lot features a Jorge Posada autographed "The Journey Home" book signed on an inside page. (SGC) Jorge Posada is a former professional baseball player who spent his entire career with the New York Yankees from 1995 to 2011. He was a five-time All-Star catcher and played a pivotal role in the team's success during the late 1990s and early 2000s, helping the Yankees win five World Series championships. Posada was known for his strong arm behind the plate, as well as his ability to hit for power and average, finishing his career with a .273 batting average and 275 home runs. He was also a respected leader in the clubhouse and was named the team's captain in 2003. In 2017, Posada was inducted into the Yankees' Hall of Fame.
