Attractive "Orange Crush" style John Elway Denver Broncos home jersey made by Russell Athletic c. mid 1980's. The jersey has Elway's size 44 Russell swatch sewn into the lower left front tail. The jersey does not have Elway's nameplate on the back. Elway played for the Broncos from 1983-1998, retiring after the '98 Super Bowl winning season. Craig Morton was the only other Bronco to wear #7 from 1977-1982 and no one will ever wear it again as his number has been retired by the Broncos. Originally acquired from the Denver Broncos. There is no team or player provenance to indicate that this jersey was used by Elway but a nice vintage "Orange Crush" style Broncos jersey made for Elway.
