This lot features a Johan Santana road gray Russell Athletic size 50 Minnesota Twins jersey from Johan Santana's 2nd American League Cy Young Award winning season of 2006. The jersey features 2 color sewn on identifiers with NOB affixed to proper nameplate. It is appropriately tagged on the outer tail with the "57 50 06" strip tag and Russell wash label sewn in tandem on the lower left front tail. The jersey shows moderate use overall. Santana would go on to pitch for the New York Mets and threw a no-hitter with the Mets in 2012. The 2006 season was Johan's best as he would win the "Triple Crown" of pitching leading the league in wins (19), ERA (2.77) and strikeouts (245). Johan has signed the front of the jersey in black marker.
