This lot features a Joey Browner c. 1986-1988 Sand Knit size 44 road white Minnesota Vikings jersey exhibiting excellent overall use with several team repairs. The jersey has the Sand Knit manufacturer tag, Minnesota Vikings exclusivity tag as well as the size 44 tag sewn into the lower left front tail. The jersey was also used as a practice jersey later in Browner's career as evident by the NFL shield sewn into the neck, a common practice for the Minnesota Vikings. Browner's #47 has been screened on the front and back while the nameplate on back features sewn on lettering. Joey has added a very large and bold signature in silver marker on the front #7. He was drafted in the first round by the Vikings in 1983 out of USC and would make an incredible 6 Pro Bowls during his stellar Vikings career. Browner was one of the most feared safeties in the league and had 37 career INT's with the Vikings from 1983-1991.
