This lot contains a single signed baseball as well as a Topps trading card each of which has been signed by the late Jimmy Piersall in black marker. Piersall, who passed away in June of this year, played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball for five teams, from 1950 through 1967. He was best known for his well-publicized battle with bipolar disorder that became the subject of a book and a film, Fear Strikes Out.
